True Blood look

This look was voted by you as your top choice of celebrity looks a while ago, and I've finally had the time to film it for you. This look is replicating Evan Rachel Wood's classic look from the TV show True Blood, and I had to watch the episode numerous times to see how her makeup was done. I couldn't find any good close-up pictures online, but after looking and pausing the episode many times, I finally figured out why this pin-up look is so unique. It's the subtle but noticeable double wing eyeliner effect, and the highlight of a light eyeliner above the black winged liner on the top lid. I hope you enjoy this look!

And these are the colors I used from the Warm palette:

Face
Revlon Colorstay foundation in Ivory, Ben Nye Natural blush

Eyes
Urban Decay Primer Potion, Warm palette eyeshadows, Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner, Max Factor eyeliner in Natural Glaze, Revlon brown eyeliner pencil, Maybelline The Colossal mascara

Lips
MAC Red Enriched lipliner, MAC So Scarlet lipstick, MAC Red Romp lipglass

Pin It Now!

I love the look. I just wish when you circled the e/s you used, you would have numbered them in the order you used them in the video. Just a thought but I have the palette so I think I can figure it out..

I'll admit that I was a litte disappointed when this look was voted the winner--it seemed like every guru on YouTube had a retro pinup-type look and I wanted to see something different. But you took this look and made it your own. I love it and will definitely be trying it out very soon! Thanks, Julia.

Just type 88 warm palette in the search box for ebay and you should find it.

Julia, GREAT JOB! I loved it. I was wondering, where would i find that thing you were using to hold your bangs outta the way??? It looks exactly like something I've been trying to find for the longest time.

It looks gorgeous! I loved how you filled your brows more than hers, that changed the look in a good way :) I also liked your lips color better (altough the lips light countour/highligh isnt too soft...)

Congratulations!
