Mira from Funnypilgrim and I collaborated on this fun summer makeup - each of us came up with a look inspired by summer fruits. My fruit of choice was watermelon, and Mira's was blood oranges.
Here's what I came up with!
I have to say, I think this is one of my personal favorite looks I've done in a while. It's just so darn fun, bright and colorful! Where could you wear this? A summer cook-out, a BBQ with friends, a summer soirée, or maybe a summer music festival.

I just love it!!! When I saw your post on facebook and instagram for this I couldn't wait for the tutorial...I must ask you though where do get your Ben Nye shadows...I went on their site but couldn't find pricing on palettes :-(

Eigentlich steh ich nicht sooo sehr auf so ausgesprochene Motto-AMUs. Gerade nicht auf bunte, denn in den aller meisten Fällen ist das, was dabei herauskommt, entweder mehr oder weniger verunglückt; es gibt eben viele Dinge, die sich einfach nicht sonderlich gut in ein AMU bannen lassen, wenn man keinen wirklich zündenden, originellen Geistesblitz hat. Und wie oft hat man so einen schon... Die kommen bekanntlich ja leider nicht am Fließband daher. Oder aber, das Ergebnis sieht zwar schon irgendwie gut aus, aber total anders, überhaupt nicht dem eigentlichen Motto entsprechend. Was natürlich schon ok ist, aber auch irgendwie ernüchternd, wenn man sich nach einer ensprchenden Ankündigung oder unter einer entsprechendn Überschrift schon voller Spannung drauf gefreut hat, die Umsetzung zu sehen.
ABER - dieser Look gefällt mir wirklich super, super, super!!! Ich kanns Dir richtig nachfüghlen, wenn Du sagst, es ist Dein liebster seit einer Weile, denn so empfinde ich es als Leserin Deines Blogs und Zuschauerin Deiner Videos ehrlich gesagt auch! Ich finde zwar fast alle Deine Looks schön (klar, sonst würde ich Deinen Blog und Deine Videos ja nicht verfolgen), aber den hier finde ich echt sehr, sehr besonders und herausstechend! So herausstechend und herausragend, wie sie eben dann doch nicht alle sind, und logischerweise ja auch nicht alle sein können.
Ich finde die Farben jede für sich toll, ich finde sie miteinander super, ich finde sie überraschend tragbar kombiniert (und das, obwohls ja so relativ kräftige Farben sind), und ich finde auch das Wassermelonen-Thema fantastisch umgesetzt!!! Unzweifelhaft Wassermelone, aber überhaupt nicht krampfhaft; nicht wie ums Verrecken irgendwas auf die Augen gemalt, was eigentlich in den Kühlschrank gehört, sondern echt gefällig, hübsch, ästhetisch ansprechend, und trotz allem - tragbar! So wie es ist, aber auch relativ leicht ein wenig zur noch etwas gediegeneren Tragbarkeit abwandelbar. Echt ein großer Wurf! Ich bin begeistert!!! Respekt für diese Kreativität und danke für diese Inspiration!
